How to add wire for a Blackberry trellis is quite a job in its self. Here on our homestead, this project is an end to a two-year-old plan that needed to be completed so that the blackberries can grow to maturity.

Sometimes you just need to use your imagination around the homestead. We have a rule on our property that we never throw anything out that we might be sorry for down the road.
It’s almost always the case that everything can be reused or used for a completely different project. This is the case for this project, a headboard converted into a Garden Gate.
We were shopping at our favorite thrift store in the next town over and I came across this beautiful handmade wooden headboard. I knew Lisa was going to want it for our bedroom, and at that very thought, my mind started moving a million miles a minute.
